Since then, the ownership of the dealerships has passed from Max Lawson, who originally started in Greeneville in the 1960s, to Lennie Lawson, who now owns and operates Gateway For and Gateway Nissan.

Since the dealership is locally and family-owned, there is a strong emphasis on creating and maintaining relationships with customers and the surrounding community.
